iliyatz, Good afternoon.
At Conditional Format Menu after defined the formula will apeear:
"APPLY TO:"
in your case will appears only the cell you select before.
eg.: $D$4
Now UPDATE this range to your desired range.
eg.: $D$4:$D$20
