Can't see files

This app is taking up space on my cell and i can't even see what's in it, please explain.

Hello. I have a galaxy s5 which i'm having problems with because the picasa app is taking up space and i can't even see what pictures are stored there. The screen says i have 1002 fotos there. The app was apparently added when i asked for help at one of the stores. I don't want any any fancy apps. on my cell, i just want to be able to take my pictures and organize them myself. I would like to be able to see what pictures are stored there. Please advise. Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated.

It's the 1000 pictures that are taking up the space.
Do you have a SD memory card in the phone? That might help.
I suggest you delete the App and/or use Kies to move the pictures to a PC.
