Mp3 playerndoes not show that it is plugged in

My nephew got a ECLIPSE 180 pro MP3 player for christmas and wants some songs downloaded onto it. When I plug the MP3 player into my INTEL Pentium processor T3400 it does not show that it is plugged in. I want to download music for him what do I do.. HELP PLEASE.

P.S. INTEL Pentium processor T3400 is just a processor not a computer
