Very confused!

Hi, I bought my daughter a laptop for Christmas. She set it up using our Talk talk Wifi. She password protected her laptop. Now this is the weird bit.....on two occasions she has visited Hotmail / outlook sites and found my log in name and password automatically saved, so she could go straight in to my work and home email accounts. This also happened with a game site that her sister plays. Now, I have never gone on her laptop and neither has her sister, well, no one has because she password protected her laptop. So how on earth do my log in details come up on hers????? Any ideas much appreciated as I am COMPLETELY MIFFED!! Thanks

Greetings,

Did you ask your daughter what she did? You have given her a laptop, hence you must be on speaking terms.

My guess is that all three computers are on the same network with access sharing to each others.

Hi, Thanks for your reply and.... yes I set the laptop up with her. We did nothing out the ordinary. How would I check that the computers are on a network with sharing? My husband reckons he's as confused about this as me...however I am concerned because he is very tech savvy. Is he spying on me?

I'm sorry but I can't answer your question, this is a technical forum. You should address the question to your husband. You should also ask your daughter. We can't answer for them. We can't give advice on family communications.
