Hello,

I want to conditionally format a cell to change the number formatting to a percentage or currency based on the text in another cell.

For example, if cell A says 'CPM', I want the value in cell B to become a currency (£). But if cell A says 'CTR', I want the value in cell B to become a percentage.

thanks,

Hi Nrus,

Select the range of cells in column B. Go to conditional formatting and apply new custom rule: =$A2="CPM" and apply currency format.

Do the same for 'CTR'.

When done correctly hitting OK to close CF should change the range of cells in column B accordingly.

Best regards,
