My wifi connects but doesn't actually do anything, help?

My wifi on my msi ge62 2qf connects but I can't go online. google chrome says there's no internet, explorer says you are not connected to a network. my Ethernet controllers device status is: " the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click update driver" I did click update driver but it can't find anything

If you run windows 10, check with provider of wifi signal. It was their issue, not mine! Computer has to talk to the router and then the modem. Of course data availability is an must! Trees are murder to the incoming and or out going sig's
