Suddenly turned off, not turning back on

HI,

i have a dell inspiron n5110 i5.....i was using it...and it suddenly turned off on its own even though it was plugged in ... and now it is not turning back on ..have tried that 30 seconds formula..didnt work..if someone has suggestions...kindly do tell me

what is the age of your laptop? Did you try to start your laptop without battery?

around 3 to 4 years and yes it opened for a sec then died again

Try this

1) switch off your laptop
2) Remove your battery
3) press power button for 30 sec
4) connect the charger
5) switch on the laptop

Did the charger shows green led light on laptop?
