Dell inspiron-1525 laptop

When I power on my laptop it goes through the beginning shows the dell logo and start up with black screen little light blinking like a space bar light and it says Time-of-day clock stopped and doesn't want to do anything else? What could this be?

Hi connie,

Lets follow these simple steps and determine if the Hardware on your computer is working fine, else it could be a Software issue:

1. Click this Link
2. Scroll down to Offline diagnostics section.
3. Follow the steps 1 through 6.
4. If there are any Hardware error codes returned reply to this message with the error code and I will try to assist your further.
