I have ethernet but not wifi

after a few days of vacation i came back home only to find my ethernet not working on my computer so i restarted the router and it worked the next day i had tried to use the wifi and it didnt work so i restarted that too until to my suprise it wasnt working and i had to unplug the machine just to find it saying that it is working on the router but not on my phone then i checked my pc and my ethernet (the cable connected to the back of my pc that gives it internet) was perfectly fine! pls help

It's possible the wifi transmitter has failed on the router. I have found that they only last 4 or 5 years.

your probably right because my transimmiter is extremely old since we had found it in our garage when our new one broke
