Won't turn on

Hello,
My laptop sometimes randomly shuts down and I can start it up again but it keeps doing it. I tried to turn it on this morning for school and it just won't turn on. I plugged in the charger and the charger light isn't even turning on. I need help asap, I have an English assignment due tomorrow and I haven't finished!

What is its exact model? And what is its operating system?

Try this, unplug the charger, and take out the battery. hold the power button for 1 minute, then release it. leave it like that for 5 mins then hold the power button again for 1 minute,then release, ONLY PLUG THE CHARGER in, and press the power button, and see if it powers on, if it does, leave it like that for 5-10 minutes, then put battery in. If that does not work let me know!
