Game launcher wont update

i recently installed a few expantion packs and now when i go to the game launcher it tells me that the sims 3 base game is not compatable and it needs to be updated in the game launcher. okaaaay when i go to updates it says my game is up to date. please someone help me i dont want to uninstall it again

UN-install ALL of the packs, and see if it runs. If it runs, then install ONE! Try again. Then install another, try it again. If it continues, then keep installing until it fails!
