Hi to all,
I tried to update my N5010 laptop which was running on windows 10.
The bios were old so I tried through dell support page to download the newest bios.
When I downloaded the files and followed instructions, the laptop screen went black and the fan went crazy. I waited for a few seconds, looking at my black screen and I panicked. So I turned off the laptop and restarted it. The result was that the screen is still black, but now I have a continues beep.
I tried to discharge the capacitors by pressing and holding the power button, and all the usual stuff that are written on forums. I JUST CANNOT FIND A SOLUTION THAT SOLVES MY PROBLEM. I just cant accept that my laptop is worthless because of a mistake.
PLEASE HELP ME.
THANK YOU

a failed BIOS update can only be fixed by replacing the BIOS chip with a correctly programmed chip. With a laptop that might require a replacement motherboard. Since the BIOS chip might be soldered to the MB.
