USB port has exceeded the power limit

Hello,



I tried to connect my SATA internal hardrive to my laptop.After doing that it said USB port has exceeded the power limit.Now the ports won't work at all

delete all the USB ports in the devices manager, then restart the computer to let your OS install all the USB ports again. Then to go to the first USB port and right click on it and go to properties. Then on the advance tab click on do not show warnings".

That did not work what else can I do please

Sorry, there was probably a power surge, I suggest you consult a technician
