DEF CON 2023: dates, schedule, tickets

DEF CON is an annual hacker convention dedicated to cyber security. It exists for 30 years and provides top-quality classes on hacking and data privacy from the leaders of the industry. Read on and find out more about this year's event and the available training.

What is DEF CON?

DEF CON is an annual hacker convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was founded in 1993 by Jeff Moss, and it is known as one of the most significant computer security forums worldwide. This year it will be its 31st edition. Attendees include computer security professionals, lawyers, federal government employees, security professionals and researchers, journalists, students, and even hackers. 

It is the forum where the leaders of the industry discuss the most topical cyber-security challenges of nowadays, including hacking issues, data privacy, the dangers of wargames, AI, robotics, and so much more. The price of participation in this year's event is $460, and the theme is "The Future Will Prevail".

When and where is DEF CON?

This year, Defcon will be held just after Black Hat USA from Thursday, August 10, 2023, to Sunday, August 13, 2023, in Caesars Forum, Las Vegas, Nevada, US.

This year's event will provide a wide variety of discussions, and panel talks, as well as intensive training in offensive physical security and access control, Window Memory Forensics, hacking cryptography, advanced active directory manipulation, cloud security masterclasses and so many more useful and unique classes from the leaders of the industry.
