WhatsApp keeps crashing. No better after reinstalling.

Since 18th Oct my WhatsApp has been crashing. Initially the “there’s a bug. Empty the cache” message appeared. Tried that but no change. Then did full uninstall, deleted data fully, reinstalled. All previously linked devices were unable to connect after this. The app worked for 24 hours but is now crashing all the time. Any suggestions? There’s still 25% of the phone’s internal memory free.
