Installing upated driver

Hello,
I have a Sony digital handycam TRV19e, I have got a new computer(windows 7) and I can't find the origional driver disk so i downloaded one from the net, but it is not compatiable . This is ok but how do I get an updated version if I can't install "normal" version. Can anyone suggest what to do- or is my camera now useless?
