Unable to set security code for my 5130 nokia

I had once set a security code for my 5130 mobile but thought to change the code. i deactivated the previous code and tried to set a new one but now its showing as code error...now i m unable to set the security code for my cell again...can somebody provide a gud solution to this i would b greatful....thanks for your time..
