Toshiba Satellitea135-7404 power issue

Hello,

My Toshiba just stopped working. The power light stays on for a few seconds then goes out. If I take the battery out nothing happens - no blue light. I tried the previous suggestion and no luck.

1. do I need a new battery
2. is the laptop now a paper weight

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try this 1
Are you able to turn ON your laptop with the AC power adapter? Check if you can see any indication of battery
charging when you connect the AC power adapter.
