Audio problem

Hello,
my laptop's model is HP 540. recently because of virus problem i have setup its windows. after that the sound is not working. even i have lost the cd that has provided with the laptop. so i dont hav the backup audio system for my laptop also. where i can download it & how can i get back sound?
