My galaxy ace doesnt find pc's ip

Hello,

I'm trying to use a program called control-slideshow-V1.3.2 for Android that allows moving slides on the computer. when i insert the ip of the computer on the phone I can not connect. I've been puting the ip on the phone but after searching for a while it says: "Server did not respond, verify address and port."
i've always used this network of wi-fi mobile phone but the program does not recognize the ip. or I'm inserting it it wrong ...
the ip is disposed like this: 222.222.2.22 and the mobile phone has 4 rectangles i imagine that each rectangle is separated by the point but still doesnt work.
