It won't work properly. It will turn on, but will either be pitch black or black with a bunch of green flickering lights. I have no idea what to do. I don't want a new computer because I'm so use to Windows 7. Any answers?

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds

3. Replug and start
