Insert new disk for drive O:
and press ENTER when ready...
The type of the file system is RAW.
The new file system is FAT32.

8 bad sectors were encountered during the format. These sectors
cannot be guaranteed to have been cleaned.
The volume is too small for FAT32.

Hi Mickdundee,

I presume you have tried formatting in Disk Management and that action was grayed out. Is that so? Have you tried formatting in NTFS or you need FAT32? Sometimes RAW file system may indicate a drive issue which prevents the correct recognition of the drive. In that case, you should be careful when using the drive and keep a backup of all stored data. Have you tried formatting in Safe Mode?

Hope this helps
