Here Are Nostradamus' Predictions for 2025 – They're Not Good

A scientist and astrologer, the famous Nostradamus left many predictions in his Prophecies, which have continued to fascinate people for centuries. So, what did he predict for the year 2025?

It hasn't even started yet, but the year 2025 is already causing great concern around the world. Recent global events aren't exactly reassuring. Between natural disasters and climate change, widespread inflation and social movements, economic and political tensions, armed conflicts, and cyberattacks, the future doesn't seem to be looking very promising.

It is in this context that Nostradamus returns to the forefront. For centuries, his prophecies have intrigued and fascinated millions around the world. Born Michel de Nostredame in 1503, he was a doctor, apothecary, traveler, and astrologer. A man of science, yet with an interest in clairvoyance!

He is best known for his book The Prophetcies, first published in 1555 in France, which brings together a set of predictions in the form of quatrains. Divided into centuries, these quatrains were meant to provide prophetic insights into major events that would shape history. His predictions included floods, famines, diseases, wars, and divine wrath—none of which were particularly optimistic. Some, however, did come true, such as the death of Henry II, the fire of London in 1666, the fall of the French monarchy, the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, the great conflicts of the 20th century, and the rise of Adolf Hitler. Even today, his writings are regularly analyzed in attempts to predict the future.

So, what does this prophet have in store for us in 2025? Not much good, that's for sure! The text, although vague, seems to point to natural disasters, wars, and economic chaos that could shake the world in the years to come.

According to interpretations, Nostradamus suggests a rebalancing of international forces and the possibility of major conflicts that could mark the beginning of a Third World War. He predicts a large-scale war in Europe, which will be the scene of violent battles. Global warming is expected to worsen, leading to major storms, tempests, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Economically, he would have predicted a major crisis that could cause shortages, particularly of medical supplies, food, and water, due to recurring droughts. All of this could lead to mass migration toward the American continent and Australia.

Fortunately, the years following 2025 should be more optimistic, thanks to the emergence of a great leader who will restore peace in Europe and help create a new world order. Though these predictions are vague, many believe they could signal global political changes. So, we may be saved!

However, it's important to take these predictions with a pinch of salt. They were written in a deliberately obscure style, using a mix of Middle French, Latin, Greek, and Provençal patois, which has given translators a lot of freedom in interpretation. Additionally, the 16th-century editions of his prophecies varied due to the methods of printers at the time, meaning they didn't even fully align with the original text. Moreover, his prophecies are often reinterpreted after the fact, making them prone to hindsight bias—people tend to see what they want to see. Let's not forget that Nostradamus also predicted many things that never came true...
