Unable to paste excel on my local HD

Hello,
I copied excel file from the repository of our company and wanted to paste it on my local HD. When I right click on the desktop, the paste option is not enabled, hence does not allow me to copy. However the same process done on another machine enables me to paste the file on that local HD.
I have Windows xp/ Office 2003 on my machine.

Try CTRL+V to paste manually
