My screen is on but stays blank?

I turn on my HP laptop the screen comes on but remains blank. If I press f10 5x it takes me to the default configuration page but once I save changes and restart it just goes back to the blank screen. I'm not sure what else I could try. Appreciate any advice?

To troubleshoot the problem, try an external monitor.
