Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series black screen before dell logo

Hello,

My laptop, a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series, has been working fine until one day, I turn it on and there is a blank screen. The keyboard lights up like normal (no amber lights or anything, perfectly normal), it turns on seemingly normally, and I can tell the LCD works, but the screen remains black/blank. I tried adjusting the brightness, which I did see a change with the LCD, but still the Dell logo doesn't even show up. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
