In my documents, I have some items with PDF and some with a W. When I try to open the ones with a W, I am asked to sign up with Word. How can I open these documents without signing up Word? What I would like to do is change these with a W to PDF. I'm running windows 10.

Aren't those W document just Word documents? And since you obviously don't have Words, you are presented with the option to purchase it.

Try looking into either OpenOffice, which is a free version of Office (which Word is a part of) or a WordToPDF converter.

OpenOffice: https://nl.ccm.net/download/downloaden-92-openoffice
WordToPDF: https://www.wordtopdf.com/

Best regards,

When I open my documents list, there is all my documents listed in squares with ether a PDF or a W in the document squares. I can't open the ones with a W. The ones with the W are trying to sell me words, which I don't want. The ones with PFD open. I want to have all my documents with PFD.
