Help installing a dvd driver

i got a new pc which dont have a dvd driver. i have a other pc with a dvd driver in it. can i take the one from the old pc and put it in the new one without having the software dise. do i need the cd? how can i find a free one if i need it? thank

No you won't need any cd. You will have to connect if to the new pc and check if the bios detects it
Don't forget to check the jumper settings to cable select, windows will detect it and install the essential driver automatically!
