Where do they want you to upload a photo?

It asks for email and password which is normal, then says we need to varify your account, please upload a photo, but it won't accept it

From what we have heard you are not alone in that situation, there seems to be a glitch with Facebook. Nonetheless, check you email, just in case Facebook sent you a message. Usually Facebook does not ask for a picture unless it's for security reasons. Having your picture on Facebook is not required.

It says choose photo, then you click on box and it takes you to your files

A Facebook spokesperson told that the new system is in place to “help us catch suspicious activity at various points of interaction on the site, including creating an account, sending Friend requests, setting up ads payments, and creating or editing ads.”

There is a bug with Facebook's system. Many report that Facebook has started forcing them to upload a new picture every time they tried to login.

In some instances, waiting 12 hours get the situation back to normal.

Soon, you may be forced to upload a clear photograph of your face onto Facebook to prove you aren’t a Russian bot.
