MP3 player will not play any music and wont chargeClosed

So I'm trying to get my MP3 to work but it will not play any music. I have songs downloaded onto there. I left it on charge all night and it was attached to a power adapter but it still lights up red when I press anything. Help?



System Configuration: iPad / Safari 9.0

Was the charger the one that came with it?  What make and model of player is it?  How long have you had it?
