HD detected in one port but not in the other

My hard drive was working fine until recently.I have 3 usb ports,2 usb 3.0 on the left where its not being detected.But all other devices are working fine in that port.But the other port (on the right)detects the hard drive.The light remains lit in all the cases.

OK, well if you are booting from USB, that is going to be a problem in the long run. The PC will mark those as external drives, and one day they are just going to stop being detected! Are you really looking at SATA ports?

Check whether the drives are visible in device manager.
