Can not connect my phone to PC

Trying to pair my phone to my laptop. When I check that the code matches I receive a message stating the codes do not match. I was able to successfully pair it once only for a few minutes. Am I doing something wrong?

Delete the previous connections. It will attempt to use the same "older" code as previously used. DELETE all pairings, and try again!
