Go to your start menu, select run. Type sndvol32. This will bring up your computer audio controls. check to see if any of the sliders are all the way to the right. If they are, drag them back to the center. Your problems should be solved.
If this did not solve your problem open the Control Panel. Select Sounds and Audio Devices. Select the Speaker Volume button then check the box that says "Move all slide indicators at the same time." Move the sliders about half way.
This should solve your problem and equalize the speakers. If not, move the quiet speaker a lot higher than the other one. If you still can't hear anything from the speaker it is blown or the wire has become disconnected. You will need to contact your computer manufacturer if this is the case.
