my name is matt and i need some help i just got wire less internet and i got a wire less USB with it i want to know if i plug it into my xbox can i use it for xbox 360 live or do i need a real xbox 360 one

i guess it is a wifi pen.
yes you can connect it to the Xbox.
you should configure it first and make sure that the connection signal is good enough.
