Xp is not installing

Hello,
hi
i am trying to instal xp, it detects the cd goes to system is cofiguring, then it goes blank, i have usd diffrenet cd's, i can intall linux with the same cd-rom, one more thing system is not going to bios by pressing del, and i inserted one hard disk on which i have installed xp on diffrent computer, but my computer is not detecting this hard disk, but on other system the same hard disk is detected, i dont know what to do
plz help me
