Reset Windows/PC won’t startup

I recently reset my pc but in the proses the screen went black and has stayed that way for a while, safe mode won’t work any tips?

What is the make and model of your pc?

What is your operating system ?

Why did you try to reset it ?

How did you reset?

You wrote that it stayed that way for awhile. Now what?

Windows8.1

Running slowly

Through the settings

The screen remains black with no signal. I checked connections but I believe that windows is not starting up

Then Windows may be booting. The next step to trouble shoot is to try another monitor.

The new monitor shows no signal as well as the old one
