Installing winxp on an hdd using ms dos

Hello,
please my cd rom cannot boot any cd ,so i have remove the harddisk and make it external.so i want to run the xp installiation on it from another computer.so that when i insert it it can boot from the harddisk so that i cacn continue ma installation.i wnt to know how i can do that.if possible the neccercery steps.

To do the installation you will need the cd!! I will advise you to connect the CD drive of the other pc to your pc to do the installation!
