I have been having trouble getting videos on facebook to play -keeps telling me to download the latest version of flashplayer and that javascript is turned off. Like other people who have posted, I tried changing my internet settings which made no difference. However, I notice that there are postings mentioning Google Chrome - I am pleased to say after downloading this, I am able to watch videos from the net including BBC news. There is obviously a problem with explorer 8 as everything was fine with version 7. If you are having problems, i would definitely recommend trying Google Chrome.
