Restoring old WhatsApp data

Is it possible to restore an old WA backup from my old phone (from a year ago)? I found that phone's files which I've saved to my PC, there's some backup ih Whatsapp/Database folder, that's what it looks like... My question is, having in mind that I don't have that old phone with me, and I also have a new WA number/account on my new phone, so, that old account is completely gone, would it be possible to restore anything to my new phone having just those files?

Hi,

By following the steps on this help page, you should be able to restore your backup using those files. This will only work if your backup contains all the necessary files for WhatsApp to be able to restore it.
