Can not log in to Instagram because of authentication code

Hello,

I lost my old phone and can not get access to the Authenticator app to generate a code. Also I don’t have the back up codes. I submitted a request to Instagram, they asked for a picture of me with a code which I sent, and they replied the authentication is removed from my profile. However when I try to log in it is still on. I did that twice, now when I reply to Instagram’s email no one replies and when I submit a new request they don’t even sent me a email anymore. This is quite frustrating and there is no way I can contact Instagram.


Can you please advise any solutions?



System Configuration: iPhone / Safari 14.0.3

I have been going through the exact same thing for over 2 weeks now, I've sent them photos w/my code & username 3 times (by using different email addresses) and I get the exact response every time... "looks like the two-factor is turned off now, you should be able to log in" .. But I still cannot . There HAS TO BE A WAY around this.
If you find the solution PLEASE let me know.

if any of us has a connection to someone who works at instagram/facebook, that could help. from linkedin maybe? im having the same issue and i feel like the only solution is contacting them personally which is nearly impossible without a connection. please post updates

I have the same issue now. Guess I should bd my account goodbye. I thought something would happen, it hasn't been half a day but I can see from this thread that there is no hope. If anyone of you found any roundabout to this problem please tell.

I also am having the same issue. It's so frustrating. I was a new mom when I got locked out of my account, so I had a bunch of recent pictures of my baby rather than my face. It has taken months and months of me sending in the damn picture with my face and code and username before someone actually did their due diligence and checked the account for a picture of ME. I was so relieved they finally verified me, and they said the TFA was turned off and that I should be able to log in now, but it's still on! I tried on desktop and mobile app. Any updates?
Any help? I have the same exact issue. I've been telling them for over 2 months now with 10 different email addresses and still no luck.
