How to post double spaces on FB

I often use this text smiley: ^ ^ (with 2 spaces between the "^"'s).

FB deletes one space between the "^"'s when I post this smiley though.

Is it possible to post the smiley (^ ^) the way I prefer it (with 2 spaces and not one between the "^"'s )?

Hello, I've just tried, and it doesn't work for me either, so i'm not sure you can.
