Network to a laptop

Hello,
I have a laptop that is wired directly to my modem, which is connected to thecable. It works. We have a second laptop that I need to connect wirelessly I have a linksys wireless g 2.4 that I can plug into my first laptop. How do I connect the second laptop??

hi,

you should connect main internet cable to the router and then the two laptops via the router as well.

then you should get access the the internet from the two laptops.
