Second space whatsapp gdrive backup?

Hello,

If I re register my whatsapp from an older device to the second space account on my Redmi phone,will it allow me to restore the Google drive backup that I had taken earlier? (Note- I have created a separate playstore account on second space). Whatsapp will stop working on my older device and hence I wish to change.
