My dvd player cannot red a DVD disc

Hello, i was having a problem on my dvd palyer? the Brand name is JVC, the Model number is HR-XVC17SU.

Can you help me why does it couldn't read a dvd disc?but it can only red CD disc.

hi,

this is a problem in the laser.

then wavelenght ahs changed, which is causing this problem.

get it repaired by a qualified technician.
