DVD/CD-ROM drive doesn't work

Hello folks,
I don't know how does it start,actually..
I use PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-217..My pc hasn't been a year..
It's unable to write any DVD,and maybe CD too..
I check in divice manager..and it says:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
if uninstall and reinstall the device can fix this problem??

I couldn't find UpperFilters.bak and LowerFilters.bak, so I just delete the rest of two..
And..It works.. ^_^
Actually,I want to know why? what make this problem?

Hello,

I noticed my CD/DVD drive was missing in my file explorer so I went searching for some online help I tried uninstalling the drives as advised online and clearing the registry as instructed earlier in Matt's page regarding jacko468's similar issue in here but the problem wasn't solved I still cant find my CD/DVD ROM driver on my windows 10 hp laptop. Please HELP

Hello,
can u please help me I cant open Gta San Andreas it says send error report or dont send. It had worked when I kept it in 800*600 resolution and I wanted to keep it in 1024*768 now I cant open the game plz help me. Is there a configuration file for that? Please help me.System Configuration: Windows XP
