You might want to try "Port Royale" series. It's pretty much similar to High Seas Trader involving trading and naval warfare but with much better graphics. If you want something more recent, try "Anno 1800" or "Sea of Thieves". These are a bit different but they still have aspects of sea-faring and trading.
