Hi,
Did you generate a new app password to link your Yahoo account with Outlook on your phone? You can't use the same app password with more than one app.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback. Outlook is not asking for any password, it automatically carries on with the authentication process and is then giving the problem. Is there maybe a way to cancel the original password that i submitted?

Try looking for an option in Outlook to remove your account. Otherwise, go to your phone's settings and choose Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Outlook > Remove account.

Hi again. It is not listed, but i have made a decision that i am not going to bother with it anymore. Lots of alternative software available (Bluemail, Proton etc) In either case i want to thank you very much for the feedback and effort. I really appreciate it a lot. All the best!
