How come i get the boot?

Hello,
I get booted from my ps3 every time the phone is answered. My computer also but not every time.The ps3 is hard wired not wifi because i was hoping to avoid being kicked by the phone, but alas I still get kicked. I have little to none computer savy,and could really use a simple well directed solution to this problem.thanks in advance to any and all whom reply.
