Can i install xp in vista place

Hello,
i have inspiron model laptop, so inbulidly vista os is loaded, but i want to install xp os. is this possible or not?

Dear Sir,

This is possible. I did it myself. I own a dell inspiron 1525 which had vista and i installed XP!

All you will have to do is to change the sata mode on your bios. Change it to IDE!

Then Boot your Windows XP installation Disc
