Help, my laptop won't read my spore disc

Hello,
I bought Spore the other day and now when i try to install it nothing happens, i put the disc in, my laptop starts reading it but nothing come up on screen, even when i go and click on it in the "my computer" section, i hope I've given enough information, thanks, im on a laptop and its windows Vista
